Terry Soule DDS

Owner and Dentist
Dr. Soule grew up in Allen Park, MI but decided to trade snowy winters for summers at the beach. He was accepted into the Honors program at the University of Florida. After graduating Cum Laude with an English major and dual minor in Pre-Med and education, Dr. Soule found his calling when he was accepted into the New York University College of Dentistry.

In 2008, Dr. Soule graduated from NYU and returned to Florida, where he bought a house in Deland. He has three dogs: Pudgie the Pug, Lady the Beagle, and Hannah the Basset Hound.

Dr. Soule has traveled to many places both in the U.S.  and abroad, has run in several charity 5Ks and is active in his church St. Ann’s Catholic Church, in Debary Florida.

Dr. Soule’s guiding principle with patients is to treat them with respect and compassion as if they are family members.

Katie

Dental Assistant
Hello, my name is Katie and I’m a graduate of Daytona State College’s Dental Assisting program. I had the pleasure of interning with Dr. Soule. I witnessed first-hand the high quality of dental care patients receive in this office. I feel very fortunate to be part of this dental family. I am excited for the opportunity to help patients improve their dental health and making a difference in their lives.

Dental Assistant
Hi, I am Kayleigh. I recently graduated with my EFDA in Dental Assisting. I had the pleasure of interning at Dr. Soule’s office and was astounded by the care and attention to detail each member of the staff contributes. Their dental family welcomed me with open arms. My drive is providing the best possible care and compassion with each patient that I see. In my off time I enjoy playing volleyball, bicycling, and going to the beach in my Jeep! I do not have children, but my boyfriend and I are parents to two wonderful fur babies. He and I recently traveled to Cuba where he is originally from and I was amazed by the difference in cultures; I am looking forward to returning later this year.

Our Professional Dental Hygienists

Beth

Dental Hygienist
I have been a hygienist for over 20 years. I began working for Dr. Erdman shortly after he opened this office, and now I have the privilege of working here with Dr. Soule. Recently, I provided a dental cleaning for a patient who was new to our office. After the cleaning, she shared with me that her teeth had never been so thoroughly cleaned and with such a gentle touch. That comment from a new patient gave me such a rewarding feeling. I am frequently encouraged by the positive feedback that my patients share with me. Seeing people’s dental health improve with my help and encouragement means a lot to me.

Hello, I am Rachel. I went to college at The Pennsylvania College of Technology where I received my degree in Dental Hygiene. My favorite thing about my career is building relationships with my patients based on education and motivating them towards an optimum state of oral, and overall, health. It is very important to me to be gentle, yet thorough, and to provide every patient with the most pleasant dental experience
possible! I have two fur babies and my hobbies include traveling and boating with my friends, family and my husband.

Ilene

Office Manager / Treatment Coordinator
I began my career in dentistry in 1971 as a dental assistant, eventually moving to the front desk. I recently celebrated 12 years of working in this office, 10 years with Dr. Erdman, and 2 years with Dr. Soule, and I thoroughly enjoy it! I have come to know and love my dental family. My patients are very special to me, and it’s very rewarding to work with them to help them achieve their dental goals. I feel very fortunate to work with a Dr. and team, who are so caring and compassionate toward their patients! In my spare time, I love going to the beach, or just staying home and watching a good movie with my husband.

Receptionist / Scheduling / Dental Hygiene Coordinator
In addition to welcoming new patients and scheduling appointments while sitting at the front desk, I also act as a financial advisor, help around the office, and assist in the back when Dr. Soule may need an extra hand as I am an EFDA.  After 6 years in the dental field, I got lucky joining this team in January of 2018 and I am truly enjoying building these new personal relationships with my fantastic coworkers here as well as our patient family.  I want every person to love going to the dentist!

At home I spend all my time with my husband and my 3 great children with special needs typically watching movies together and playing outside.

Scheduling / Insurance / Financial Coordinator
After having worked in corporate dentistry for over 10 years, I recently made the switch to Dr. Soule’s private practice. Meeting the doctor and staff I’ve seen how amazing the quality of care that patients receive is. I am so happy to be working in an office that truly puts the patients first and feels like a family. I spend my time outside of the office with my 3 great boys and my husband, who was my high school sweetheart, going to Universal and having game nights at home with friends and family.
