mi paste

MI Paste is a topical crème that is safe, non-toxic, water-based, and sugar-free. Available in a wide variety of flavors, MI Paste should be applied directly to your teeth, preferably immediately after brushing your teeth before bed. You can administer MI Paste at home, using either your finger or a cotton-tipped applicator; never use your toothbrush to apply MI Paste to your teeth. After applying MI Paste, use your tongue to distribute it over the surfaces of your teeth. Spit out any excess paste after allowing it to be in place for three minutes, and then refrain from eating, drinking, and rinsing your mouth for a minimum of 30 minutes following the application of MI Paste.

Once it has been put in place, the active ingredient in MI Paste, Recaldent, begins to go to work. A protein derived from milk, Recaldent binds to the surfaces of your teeth, where it releases calcium and phosphate ions that interact with the calcium and phosphate that already occur naturally in the mouth.

MI Paste is the only available product that contains Recaldent to help fight tooth decay

The treatment applications of MI Paste go beyond just providing an additional layer of defense against tooth decay.

Other applicable treatment situations include:

MI Paste also can be applied as a preventive measure to discourage the formation of white spot lesions on teeth.
